First Floor Map

First floor guide for Clean The Library. All shelf sections 1A through 1N with themes, colors, and routing tips.

First Floor Overview

The first floor of Clean The Library introduces fourteen shelf sections labeled 1A through 1N. This is where every player learns core color sorting before second-floor complexity. Sections cover mainstream genres with relatively distinct palette separation—Horror 1A dark red and black, Science 1D blue, Poetry 1E soft pink and cream—though some adjacency pairs like Fantasy 1B purple and Prophecy 1M silver-pale blue still confuse newcomers.

First-floor routing dominates early badge progress: Getting Started at 36.7% community completion and Quarter at 14.7% happen here for most players. Keys including Golden Diamond and Azure Star often sit on first-floor elevated platforms requiring Crimson Octagon jump—plan key detours during natural aisle walks per our keys pages.

Co-op teams frequently assign first floor entirely to two players while others prep second-floor batches—see co-op page for role splits.

Routing Tips

Batch by color family before sprinting: all reds and dark tones together, all greens together, etc. Sort magic after Assemble at hub pile, then fan out to wings.

Emerald Club sprint matters less on first floor than carry capacity—Golden Diamond and Azure Star keys first. Use color sorting guide for pile hub placement.

Complete Insight audits on first floor before unlocking second floor-heavy co-op splits—misfiles here propagate if carried upward.
